Dublin, Ireland, December 9th, 2021. Warehouse and supply chain management software specialist Principal Logistics Technologies Ltd. has announced its second business acquisition in under 12 months.
The logistics business sector has remained resilient following Brexit. Principal Logistics Technologies Ltd., in order to expand its operations, has acquired the entire share capital and intellectual property rights of Manchester, UK based Chess Logistics Technology Ltd. The Covid pandemic has accelerated a change in consumer purchasing habits, which in turn has led to changes and pressures in the supply chain. Warehouse and supply chain optimisation technology, supplied by Principal Logistics Technologies and Chess Logistics Technology, will assist across industries responding to these challenges. The acquisition includes Chess Logistics Technology’s in-house developed Empirica and Socretes WMS warehouse management systems along with ProSKU, a cloud-based WMS and order management system.
